Windows Server is Microsoft's server operating system family, designed for enterprise data centers, hosting, and infrastructure workloads. The current major release is Windows Server 2022.

Most organizations run Windows Server in combination with Microsoft SCCM or Microsoft Intune for management and Veeam Backup & Replication for data protection.
